I finally understand why this fragrance gets talked about the way it does. It's clean fresh and masculine without smelling like every other blue fragrance on the market and somehow manages to smell expensive without trying too hard. After owning this I started questioning a lot of the other fresh fragrances in my collection because this does that job so well.

Creed Aventus is what started my fragrance addiction. I bought an air freshener for my vehicle which was based on it. I immediately fell in love with the DNA and began testing clones. It wasn't until I had spent too much money on clones and comparing to a decant of the real thing that I realized nothing could fully emulate the original. So now the full bottle of original is on my wish list. It's my holy grail.

Really nice fruity fragrance. Great for the beach. I don't get the hype behind it. It smells like a million other fragrances with the same ingredients. But I definitely feel confident when wearing it.

Well, its Aventus! It's a fruity woody fragrance with that signature smoky edge. It opens with a prominent pineapple note mixed with apple and citrus, giving it a bright and juicy start. The heart brings in some floral elements along with patchouli, while the base features a smoky birch, leather, and musk combination that many people associate with this scent.

As much as I consider most of Creed's fragrances overpriced and poorly performing, even as a woman, I can't deny how amazing Aventus smells! I have bought last year a 10 ml travel size spray, but I am nearly done with it, so this year I will upgrade to a big bottle. It's so good, smells so appealing and exotic, sweet and fruity, fresh and citrusy, mossy and woody. It's absolutely wonderful!

Aventus is a fragrance I always hated for years before even smelling it simply because of how much ridiculous hype it gets. Little did I know... it was fully worth the hype it got.

Unfortunately, the newer batches are just mediocre compared to what Creed Aventus use to be. The current formulation is a bright and citrusy fragrance with an airy-smoky backbone. However, the pineapple is nonexistent, there's no depth in the fragrance, the smokiness is extremely light with intensity, plus the performance is subpar.
